History of Science Discussion Group

Geocentrism

A venue for faculty with an interest in the History of the Natural Sciences to collaborate on course design and research. Science here is broadly defined, encompassing the mathematical and biological sciences, earth sciences, cosmology, astrology, alchemy, cartography, and the applications of the theoretical sciences (medicine and technology), among others. Participating faculty come from diverse backgrounds: the “pure” sciences, philosophy, religion, history, literature, cultural studies, and the social sciences. All who inquire into the natural world are welcome.
